BlogJet 1.6 (will be released soon) will have the advanced Insert Link window.
First of all, you can assign titles to your links (Jacob Nielsen would love it! See Weblog Usability: The Top Ten Design Mistakes, 4th mistake). Title attribute usually shows up as a hint in visual browsers: try me.
Secondly, you can use rel attribute. In blogs this attribute is mostly used in two ways:
- If you assign nofollow to it, the web site that you linked to won’t benefit (in terms of search engines rank) from having a link on your blog (use it to link to bad sites ).
- If you assign tag to it, the link becomes a tag for your post. For example: blogjet, features, software, blogging, links, nielsen. (More about tags: Technorati Help).
Get ready to better linking with BlogJet 1.6!
